Look out NBA, Floyd Mayweather wants to buy a team
Money is not a problem for flashy ex-boxing champ, Floyd Mayweather jr. and neither is spending it to be honest.
This time however, TMT isn’t looking at adding to his uber-luxurious fleet of supercars or getting a jet … he’s aiming higher.
Mayweather is interested in buying a team in NBA! Talk about ambitious.
He revealed this in a photo with NBA legend, Magic Johnson, saying, ‘It’s about time for me to buy an NBA team, if you’re ready to sell your NBA team, please get in touch with me.’
The average NBA franchise costs around $1.3b according to Forbes, while Mayweather has a net worth of $350m.
Reckon that meeting with Magic was to get more partners to buy a team? Only time will tell.
